I have a bunch of different vehicles that I can rent out.
There are two cars, a van, pickup and SUV that I let people rent out for days, weeks, months and even one time I rented it for a year. Usually I don’t have any concerns with the people who rent the cars, but once in a while there is someone who completely ignores the signs in the vehicle that prohibit smoking of any kind. I also tell people when they pick my cars up that they should not smoke cigarettes or marijuana in the cars or even somewhere near the cars because the smoke will get inside the vehicle in addition to sticking in the upholstery. Well, a lot of the time people just don’t listen to those rules and then they end up having to spend money and get the cars detailed in addition to cleaned up. Of course, they get mad whenever they have to spend money to disinfect the cars up but it’s their own fault. Marijuana smoke constantly makes the cars smell bad in addition to it taking forever to get the aroma of it out of the vehicle upholstery. Last month this guy rented the vehicle in addition to he assured me that he didn’t smoke anything at all, including marijuana. However, when the vehicle was returned to me, the whole thing was just gross smelling. It smelled just like the local cannabis cafe! I was so mad when I smelled the yucky stink of weed in my car. I called him up right there and billed him for cleaning it.
