City people tend to look down on those of us who prefer the country life. They tend to think of us as simple folk, which may or may not be true, but they also think of simplicity as a bad thing. As if having hustle and bustle in every day of your life is a good thing. At our cores, all people are the same, and we country folk can get down and party with the best of them. Just last week my grandad shocked the world (but not the family) at a huge party he threw to celebrate a business venture. Grandad called us all together, and after the barbeque told us how he signed a contract with a local marijuana dispensary to start supplying them. We were all a bit taken aback, because grandad had never mentioned medical cannabis to us before, and now he was going to be growing fields of it? After we settled down, he calmly explained to us that he had been growing, and smoking, cannabis for many years now. Out beyond the cornfields he had a solid half acre of marijuana that he had been tending for years, and none of us knew it! Now that he was working legit for the marijuana dispensary, he had the green light to increase the size of his grow. For years cannabis had been his little secret, and now it was blossoming into his new primary source of revenue! If we are talking about good cash crops, it would be tough to ever beat growing marijuana.
