I have finally managed to link my passion into 1 amazing job.
- It was a long, hard road getting there, but all the sacrifice was worth it because I am finally starting to gain momentum, and I never had to compromise my beliefs.
It would have been legitimately easy for me to fall into line with most people, but I had not been raised that way. My folks raised me to fight for what I believe in, even if it meant disagreeing with people in charge. After getting fired from a few different cooking tasks because of smoking cannabis, I found a task that embraces the use of cannabis in cooking. To be clear, the boss still does not want us to smoke cannabis in the kitchen, I need to go to my car or somewhere outside the business. But my boss doesn’t care that I smoke it, he just doesn’t want the potential legal complications, of which there are multiple due to the nature of cooking with cannabis, but one day these kinds of eateries will be commonplace enough that the word cannabis won’t attract any attention from the law. But, I will need to take it slow to start. For the most part the people I was with and I do not use buds or flowers in the dishes, we use cannabis distillates, oils, plus CBD products. For the most part the cannabis flowers and buds are just used as garnish or rubs or seasonings on meat and seafood.
