A budtender’s job

The medical marijuana industry is a hard to understand.  I have dealt with seizures my whole life and they had been gaining intensity as I have gotten older. A close friend of mine convinced me to try medical marijuana. The whole marijuana industry has changed and has become accepted and widely accessed to help people who struggle with health issues. When I visited  a local medical marijuana dispensary, I was overwhelmed by the options. There was a wide variety of strains, extracts, edibles, topicals and a selection of modern cannabis products. I was a bit worried about how I was going to make a good choice and find products would suit me best. Fortunately, marijuana dispensaries have workers called budtenders. These workers at the dispensary are there to help people determine what suits their specific requirements. The budtenders I consulted with was amazing. She was familiar with every product and what it provided. The budtender employee asked a lot of questions and was really insightful when guiding me in my selections. I was amazed that she was able to identify what exactly I needed, the strength of the cannabis product I needed and also choose the product from the vast selection. At first I worried that  the budtender might have ulterior motives and wanted to influence me toward particular strains. Nope, the woman was just helpful. She told me that the she knows the products so well because she went through budtender employee education. She completed a portion of online budtender training and now works with a company that strives for quality in the cannabis education field. I did not realize budtenders received training.
