Finding a new job

I never finished my college degree, but I learned a lot about biology while I was in the two years that I studied.

Biology and Chemistry were normally my favorite subjects.

During my senior year, my mom got sick and died and I never finished. Eventually, I found a job finally working in a pharmaceutical lab, and I stayed there for nearly five years. When the lab was bought out by a hospital, they only kept the staff with a bachelor’s degree or higher… I was walking around on unemployment for over five weeks, before I found anything at all… Luckily, my new job has been fantastic. I was hired by a medical marijuana research facility, where they perform many different types of research on medical marijuana and its effects.. I am currently working in a lab that is testing the effects of marijuana on dementia patients. It’s a great fun work, and I learn something new everyday. I also meet cool patients. When I applied for the job at the medical marijuana research facility, I really did not expect to be hired! After all, I am actually nothing more than a university dropout with a one previous job. Luckily, they saw something that I didn’t. I make a really nice salary, and I also have trip days, medical benefits, and a retirement plan. I like going to work every morning, and my coworkers don’t care if I graduated with a degree or not. Everyone seems to be happy to work on the research. I would be happy to make this place my forever home. I could actually see myself retiring from this place one day.
