My fiance & I decided to take our dogs camping last Springtime, & the people I was with and I got caught in the middle of an excruciating thunderstorm, and we were in a tent, & the wind howled for minutes & minutes.
The dogs were scared the whole time, & so was my fiance.
When the storm subsided, she and I had a great deal of disfigurement to the campsite. We lost our canopy, & our cooler was in the neighbor’s campsite. There was a river of water flowing through the middle of our fire pit… I do not believe my dogs have ever gotten better from the thunderstorm. Every time it starts to thunder or lightning, my dogs starts to howl & wine. I talked to the vet about the behavior, & they suggested purchasing some CBD treats to keep them calm. I did not know that dogs could use CBD, so I was certainly surprised. I asked the vet if they had any samples, but they did not! She did give me a few coupons from the manufacturer. I found a specialty Pet Shop that carried these CBD treats, & my fiance & I went to purchase them this past weekend. It was certainly expensive, but I guess that I should not be surprised, and CBD infused treats for humans are also absolutely expensive. We bought a 12 oz bag of treats for $34. The recommended dosage is 3 to 5 treats, & that means she and I should get a few applications from the bag. I hope the CBD infused dog treats will help, because I do not care for to waste cash. If it helps my buddies stay calm, I won’t mind spending the cash at all.
