Next month recreational marijuana will be legal

During the November election, there were a few unusual new laws on the ballot.

One of those laws was to remove recreational marijuana from the list of banned substances on the state registry; Recreational marijuana was on the ballot four years ago and it had to get 60% of the voting to pass.

Alas, The ballot only got 58% of the vote. A lot more voters have joined the medical marijuana registry and this year the vote passed with a massive 88% of the popular vote with an affirmative “heck yes” to legalize. Next month on the 1st, sale of recreational marijuana will go into effect. I am over the moon to be able to buy recreational marijuana in the dispensary. Right now there is only a small selection as far as medical marijuana is concerned and the state limits THC in those products to under 20%. Once recreational marijuana is legalized and into effect, there will be no limit as to the level of THC that a product can have. I am trying not to spend actually much money on buying medical marijuana, because most people knows that the prices on marijuana are going to be a lot lower as soon as recreational marijuana is legalized. In fact, many of the medical marijuana shops have already begun to lower their prices. Last month I got sevenths of dried marijuana buds for $15 apiece. I’ve never seen marijuana flower at that low price in the past and I have been a regular medical marijuana patient for the past 3 years. I also look forward to being able to find a wider variety of unusual products like tankers, edibles, chocolates, and distillates.
