Trying edibles to treat PTSD

My brother, George was 18 years old when he was shipped overseas with his army unit.

He served for approximately four years & came back a different guy. The PTSD was a big problem for him. Any little noise caused him to him jump and react. Since George lives in the city, he was frequently getting upset and aggravated. His wife finally came to me and asked for assistance. I then researched online on way to safely treat PTSD. Unfortunately, medical programs for veterans are limited in funding and the demand is extremely high. My brother never would have received any medical attention. I then checked into medical marijuana. Cannabis has proven to effectively treat PTSD. The pot calms people down & combats the flashbacks. However, trying the medical marijuana route was very challenging. This is actually very much like going to a doctor. It requires tons of paperwork. To avoid stress & time, I took my brother to a recreational cannabis dispensary. The budtender working there was super helpful. She explained every type of strain offered from Orange Crush to Purple Haze. She also spoke with us about the advantages of everything from smoking cannabis to edibles. We agreed that edibles were probably the best choice for my brother. The gummies appeared normal but are powerful enough to provide benefits. I am hopeful that my brother is going to be better. Anytime George feels stressed or jumpy, he will just eat a few gummies to help him out. I am so thankful there is now an effective treatment.
