I hear so many people who come into my work and say the same thing.
Seriously, I hear it several times a day, for months on end now, so I have come up with a reply I always use for it. The first time anyone comes into my marijuana dispensary they have to try and soak in all the amazing products we have. They always say, on their first visit, that they feel like a kid in a candy store. And I get why people say it, but still, it is getting old, so I always say to them “no, a kid in a candy store feels like you in a marijauna dispensary.” All the kids can get is penny candy, or bits of chocolate, but here you can get Girl Scout Cookies, Purple Haze, Blue Dream, or Orange Kush, just to name a few. I have a whole counter with nothing but different THC infused edibles, from Space cakes to pot brownies to cannabis gummies that look like little green pot leaves. We don’t just cater to the recreational cannabis users, though, we also do a lot of business with people who want the medicinal qualities without getting high. Over half the store is devoted to different kinds of CBD oil, some with THC in them and others without. Several of my clients are parents who use CBD oil without any THC content for their kids, to help with seizures or medical treatment recovery. Those kids would have a much better time in a real candy store, but adults always prefer the cannabis dispensary.
