Every state isn't equal

When I was moving into the apartment, someone saw the plants and called the apartment manager.

The cannabis laws and regulations are different in every state. Since marijuana is not federally legal, it’s up to each state to set their own rules, then if you transport to a new state, it’s pressing to believe and understand the laws. I previously lived in a state where recreational cannabis was legal and I knew it was going to be hard to transport anywhere new. I was growing more than one plants for recreational use, however I also had our medical cannabis card. If you have a qualifying condition, it makes sense to have the medical cannabis card, then you do not ever have to pay taxes on marijuana and those hefty taxes can add up, when I moved to be with our girlfriend, I moved to a medical marijuana state. I figured it would be legal to grow our plants there too, since I had a medical marijuana card, and unluckyly, growing is still not legal in this state and I had to kill our harvest. I had more than one genuinely big indica plants with strong roots and the potential to yield 2 pounds of cannabis. When I was moving into the apartment, someone saw the plants and called the apartment manager. She gave myself and others the terrible news and told myself and others about the law. She didn’t force myself and others to kill the plants, but she told myself and others that both of us were in violation of our lease. It made myself and others upset and sick to our stomach to destroy our seedlings, however I didn’t believe what else to do. It’s so hard to know that in 2020, cannabis is still illegal in some locales.
