The nearest legal weed store just started offering free house delivery

At first our state didn’t want to vote for any form of cannabis legalization, be it medical or recreational.

  • Even though the governor tried at one point to decriminalize marijuana, the effort eventually failed.

Both of us had people tirelessly canvassing to get petition signatures in numbers high enough to put the issue on the official November election ballot. There were numerous election cycles where groups failed to secure enough petitions, but numerous years ago they finally succeeded. Before I knew it, the people I was with and I were voting for the modern constitutional amendment to legalize marijuana for adult recreational use. When it secured 65% of the vote, I was amazed witnessing a sea change of unparalleled proportion. Both of us undoubtedly were on our way to joining the other states in the nation that had already legalized marijuana for recreational use. It’s fantastic because you don’t have to pay these enormous yearly fees to keep up a medical marijuana card. In states where only medical marijuana is legal, it’s not unusual to see nurses charge at least $150 per visit. It wouldn’t be so terrible if it was only once a year, but often you have to see these nurses more than once a year. Then there’s the cost to the state for the card itself, which ranges anywhere between $70 and $100. That’s why it’s cheaper in one regard to have recreational marijuana, but on the flip side it’s taxed higher. You end up paying more for the same products, so it’s anyone’s suppose if it’s undoubtedly cheaper in the long run. Regardless, I shop at a legal weed store down the road from my house that now offers free house delivery. It’s severely convenient to get my cannabis products delivered to my house while I’m working at house in the afternoon and day hours.
