Products at some medical cannabis dispensaries are low quality

There have been a number of factors that made me a jaded medical marijuana patient. For one, it took two separate elections before we could sustain enough votes to pass a constitutional amendment to legalize cannabis for medical use. The amendment was clear that the state was not permitted to unlawfully restrict the plant in its full form, especially in dry-cured flower buds that most people know it as. Unfortunately, our conservative legislature saw things differently. The medical marijuana rules that they drafted were extremely restrictive and only a handful of products like tinctures and cannabis vape cartridges were available at medical marijuana dispensaries. Since the licenses to be a marijuana business are so high, there are less than 20 different dispensary companies in the state. There is little competition among the existing medical cannabis dispensaries so many of their products are low quality. Back in the day there was respect given to cannabis sourced from the medical markets out west, but nowadays I am jaded when I look at the options in my state. There are too many companies that are producing cannabis flower products that smell like chlorophyll and give you a headache when you smoke them. These medical cannabis dispensaries charge obscene prices for these products and they’re below the standards of what most street dealers would willingly deal with. You have to be smart and shop at the right stores regardless of what the marketing leads you to believe. Some of the best stores in the medical marijuana market have the least amount of marketing and advertising, because they know that quality products sell themselves.
