I wanted to head right home after work this week, so I decided not to stop at the cannabis dispensary. I usually stop at the cannabis dispensary on my way home on Friday afternoons, although I wanted to get ready for a date and I did not want to be late, however before I left the office, I placed an order for delivery from the cannabis dispensary. The shop has been offering delivery services since the start of the covid pandemic. I received a telephone call from the store budtender about an hour after I placed the online order. She told me that the delivery driver would arrive around 5:30. I had plenty of time to take a shower when I got home at 4:30. I jumped in the shower and picked out a nice dress for the evening, and at about 5, I heard a knock on the door. I looked at my watch and saw the time. I did not think it was going to be that cannabis dispensary delivery driver. I walked through the front door and looked out the peephole. I was only wearing a towel around my body. When I saw the driver on the other side of the door, I told the guy to wait a couple of minutes. I ran down the hall and put on a shirt and a pair of shorts. The driver arrived 30 minutes earlier than I anticipated and I was pleasantly surprised. I gave the driver an extra $10 for being fast and prompt. I had plenty of time to smoke an entire marijuana cigarette before the date and I was calm and relaxed when Jack arrived to take me to dinner that night.
