The customer at the cannabis store almost was hit by a light

The light located above the money registers has been flickering for multiple weeks. The marijuana dispensary is in an ancient building… A good amount of the fixtures are 50 years of age, including the fluorescent lights. The fluorescent lights have been flickering for a pretty long while, even though I told the building maintenance crew that the setback definitely needed to be resolved. Regrettably, they never found the time to repair the light plus now we have an even larger setback. While I was doing work the other day, there was a very tiny earthquake. The building shook plus rumbled plus the fluorescent light actually fell on the table plus practically hit a single of our clients. The light missed the client by a short distance. I asked the client to fill out an incident report before he left the cannabis store, and she did not note any injuries from the accident at that actual time. She even checked plus signed a box that claimed she was free of injuries altogether. Sadly, now the lady is claiming to have a back injury. Several minutes after she left the cannabis dispensary, she went to the emergency room with pain in her lower back. The light fixture never touched the person, so I find it strenuous to guess that she has a serious injury from the light falling. My boss made myself and others fill out a report about the incident plus I had to include the incident report from the lady. I sincerely do not guess that customers can get a lawyer plus sue the marijuana dispensary for destruction while in an earthquake, however it’s a fine thing the arena has lawyers to handle these difficult scenarios.
