The dispensary won't deliver anything for free anymore

For the past six months, my girlfriend and I have been ordering from the same cannabis dispensary. The place has a 10% off sale when you order for delivery, and they always offer a free pre-roll with every $50 purchase. My girlfriend and I have ordered there every week since the business opened last October. We usually spend $100 or more every time we contact that cannabis dispensary. After we add dried flower and concentrate to the cart, the total is always close to a bill. It’s really easy to spend a hundred bucks at the pot shop. My girlfriend placed an order a couple of days ago, and we found out some bad news when the budtender called to confirm our order. The dispensary isn’t allowed to deliver anything for free any longer. When the state laws changed, giving away free marijuana was something listed in the legislature. The dispensary cannot give away any items for free, even with a minimum purchase. My girlfriend and I no longer qualify for a free pre-roll unless we go to the store. The cannabis dispensary is at least six or seven miles away from the house. By the time we get home from work in the evening, neither one of us wants to drive across town to go to the dispensary just for a free pre-roll. The free giveaway was nice while it lasted, but I guess we will have to go back to the way that things were. I’m not getting on the freeway and sitting in traffic for a free joint.
