Being my Grandma’s caretaker, I had been into a marijuana dispensary so many times.
When she was not able to get around plus go to the marijuana dispensary for her own medical marijuana, I was the person who would get the order for her.
Since recreational marijuana had been legalized in our state, I didn’t need to have a caretaker’s marijuana card to be able to get into the dispensaries. I was completely surprised at the odd products that were now being provided as compared to what were provided for legal medical marijuana. It seemed basically like the amount of marijuana products on inventory was virtually tripled as compared to legal medical marijuana products. With medical marijuana you could pick up the concentrates which could be used to make edibles, however you are unable to buy edible marijuana products if you only had a medical marijuana card. With the beginning of legal recreational marijuana, you could still buy the concentrates but, you could just go into the marijuana dispensary plus buy the edibles premade. The amount of edible products was shocking to me, and there were no longer just the gummy bears, but gummy worms plus other amazing types of candies available. You can now buy chocolates that were infused with marijuana. There were sodas that were infused with marijuana plus many of them had odd strengths of marijuana as well. I don’t think anyone could have prepared me for the drastic change in marijuana products that were now available for basically everyone to purchase. It’s going to take Grandma plus I a relatively long time before we can sort through all the current marijuana products plus discover the 1s that she enjoys the most plus that I would honestly prefer to try.
