It feels as though I’m returning like half the stuff I order online.
While it’s a pleasure to shop online, it sure doesn’t really make up for doing the shopping in person.
There is still no substitute for actually seeing something in the store before you purchase it. But times change and that’s just part of doing business these days. The same goes for stuff like HVAC. My husband and I inherited a decent HVAC unit in the house we now own. For sure, we would have preferred the latest in residential HVAC but we got heating and cooling equipment that was in decent shape. However, the seller couldn’t produce the HVAC service records we required. We really didn’t know what sort of HVAC maintenance record the HVAC unit had. So when the HVAC technician let us know that we were going to need an HVAC repair, we weren’t all that surprised. The HVAC professional was out doing the air conditioning tune up when we found the problem. Thankfully we had some time before the summer heat came and we needed all that HVAC Cooling. We even considered going online to get the HVAC repaired like we do with many other goods and services. But we found out pretty quickly that unlicensed and uncertified HVAC repair came with no guarantee. The only guarantee we could find was from the HVAC professional. That sealed is for us and we called the local HVAC company. The HVAC professionals were prompt and fixed the problem so we were all set for the summer heat.
