The marijuana industry has saved countless generational farmers

I am not sure if you realize the overall impact that current life is having on families that work as generational farmers.

The growing population, development of farmlands, & expense of producing crops is putting numerous people out of business all the time. Even the changes in the environment such as bigger storms is having a horrible impact on their livelihoods. In order to stay relevant numerous farmers are turning to new innovations & new crops to make a living for their families and their children. Whether it is the use of solar power to cut costs, new machinery to make the jobs a great deal easier, or new crops, they do what they can to get by. It all pretty much comes down to the seasoned saying of “work smarter, not harder”. If the job can be accomplished with updated machines to cut labor costs it makes sense to make the investment. If you are a farm that largely produced a product that is no longer in high demand or has a limited value on the current market, you may want to look into something more lucrative. This is where the interest in marijuana farms comes in, and you may be completely amazed by the number of big farms that have been converted to greenhouse farming to produce marijuana for the local dispensaries. This can benefit the farmer in numerous ways. They can sell off excess land that is no longer being used to homeowners or developers. They can produce a product in half the amount of space & work with it year round, & they can even use solar energy to maintain an environment in which the product is grown! All of this makes quite a bit of sense to even the oldest of farming families.
