What to look for in a dispensary

With the legalization of medicinal and recreational marijuanna in my home state, the cannabis industry has experienced rapid growth. There seems to be new dispensaries opening up every day. Like any other type of business, the quality varies by quite a bit from one to the other. Everything from the layout and cleanliness of the dispensary to the integrity and selection of product significantly affects the experience. It’s always convenient to find a dispensary nearby. No one wants to drive over an hour every time they want to purchase some shatter, budder or edibles. However, it’s worth it to venture a little further if it means cannabis products that are tested and verified as safe. It’s important to find out where they source their cannabis from. Are the plants grown outdoors or indoors through hydroponic technology? Are they contaminant-free and raised without harmful pesticides? The dispensary should be able to provide seed to packaging information. The packaging should clearly indicate the amount, type and potency of the products. It’s helpful if the dispensary includes a staff of knowlegeable and helpful budtenders to offer guidance and answer questions. Some of the larger dispensaries offer weekly specials to tempt consumers to try new things. Some include delivery services, although this typically adds quite a bit to the cost. There are dispensaries who have a doctor on the premises on specific days to make it easier to get a medical marijuana card. I prefer the dispensaries that include a vape lounge and dab bar. When I make the trip to the dispensary, I like to make it a social occasion. I enjoy chatting and sharing the experience with like minded people.
