The people I was with and I have come a very long way with shopping & condo delivery over the past two decades.
When I was a child, the last thing I remember ordering for condo delivery was pizzas & other steakhouse food.
This was well before e-commerce took off on the internet in the late 90s & early 2000s. If you had any package shipped to your house, it was likely that you either ordered the item on the phone, or through a catalog, or it was sent to you by a friend or a family member. When e-commerce finally started taking off, it was amazing to see the development over a long stretch of time. Once I got into school, the number of products & items that could be bought on the internet was truly staggering. You could by that point order almost anything over the internet & have it shipped right to your front door. Now that we’re even further into the future, I’m amazed to see high end marijuana of all things being bought on the internet & delivered to someone’s home. I thought that it would be impossible for our state to even decriminalize cannabis, let alone legalize it even for medical use. Since both of us have a medical cannabis program only, there are some very strict rules from the state over lab testing the products to ensure purity. I found out 1 of the top cannabis dispensaries in our state is not offering condo delivery. Their cannabis delivery runs regularly, & they repair the entire state in waves. So if you made an order randomly, you’d have the available delivery in your immediate space two days out of the month while the truck would be well on the other side of the state during the rest of the week. Since the cannabis delivery is free of charge, I can’t complain about the limited delivery times. Especially when the whole flowers are so rich in THC & terpenes.
