Taking a road trip

My current swing on this road trip has lasted two weeks, and there is no end in sight. I do miss my home sometimes, but I keep reminding myself that my work is very important. I can lounge around the house watching TV in my pajamas any time, but these political issues are very time sensitive. So I need to work my hardest now, and then enjoy my time off when it comes… whenever that may be! I really don’t want to sound like I am complaining, because this is the best job I’ve ever had, and the first job I have ever loved. Basically, I am part of a sponsored team that visits various states promoting legalization for medical marijuana. I am very passionate about this subject, because in her final few years my mother got a lot of relief from her pain and suffering due to marijuana use. The fact that she had to risk being labeled a criminal just because she needed medical cannabis is something that still makes me angry to this day. It fuels my desire to see medical cannabis legal in all 50 states of the union, because people are suffering out there and could use it! There are a lot of political reasons that medical marijuana isn’t legal, but as far as I can tell there are no good moral reasons. To answer your next question, no I am not out here promoting recreational marijuana use. To me this is a medical issue, and marijuana is a plant with remarkable medicinal qualities to help people.
