I never saw it coming at the time, however looking back, it makes a bit of sense. Bob just came up to me 1 day and said that she was no longer in love with me and wanted a divorce. Bob was the same cutie who used to smoke marijuana openly just down the hall from me in my first apartment. I was awfully square back then and Bob was so dazzling to me. It was so unlikely that we’d party however that’s just what wound up happening. She sort of put the cannabis down once we got married and started a family. From there, it felt like a scripted life. I went to work and dedicated tons of time to my work. This resulted in big-time promotions, more money and more time in the office. And that’s how it played out until both the kids left for college. That’s when Bob just pulled the plug. Honestly, I can’t particularly blame her. Bob wasn’t happy and I wasn’t around. That’s a recipe for the collapse of a marriage for sure. To sort of turn the page, I took another job that was in another state. It helped to just be away from all the official stuff that kept bringing back the pain of personal failure. Ironically, I’ve moved to a state where cannabis is legal. So I entirely strolled into the local cannabis spot to learn more about cannabis products. Not only did I come out of there with the facts about cannabis, I made some friends as well. It’s hard not to wonder what Bob would believe about me exploring sativa and indica strains. And liking it!
