Even though recreational marijuana is legal in the state, I am still not permitted to use recreational marijuana supplies at work.
I knew the rules, although I still decided to take a marijuana vape pen with me to the office.
Marijuana helps me in a lot of unusual ways. Marijuana helps me feel much more at ease with less stress. I have been using marijuana for a long while to help with anxiety… Just because everyone in the office does not actually know my business, does not mean that I do not want to keep things private. I was being really discreet with the marijuana vape pen at work to be honest. I was only using it while in times when I felt some type of stress or anxiety. I had a meeting with a couple of clients the other weekend. Just before the meeting I snuck into the bathroom on the fourth floor to hit the marijuana vape pen. I snuck into a bathroom stall plus took many large puffs. When I walked out of the stall plus exhaled, there was another employee sitting at the sink. I never bothered to check to see if someone was in the next bathroom stall when I walked inside, because I was in such a hurry. The woman reported me to the human resources department plus I got into trouble for using recreational marijuana at work. The office manager acted essentially like it was the worst thing in the world plus she sneaks whiskey at her desk many times a week. I won’t ever use the bathroom on the fourth floor again in my life.
