I can’t afford the cannabis dispensary prices lately

At first I was feeling delighted about cannabis being legalized, however that hastily wore off, then for a while it felt love the good side won the war, however that wasn’t true, but pot legalization hasn’t certainly changed anything with my life, with the notable exception of paying a whole more for it.

  • I expected retail prices to drop once weed was legalized, however the opposite was true.

Thanks to so many extra fees and taxes, the cost for an ounce of weed is much higher than I have ever paid before in my life. If it weren’t for my friend Sam, I would have to split back on my cannabis consumption. Sam lives in the other half of this duplex, and my pal and I share the same backyard, so I guess Sam isn’t growing the marijuana himself. I have no clue where he gets so much cannabis, and I don’t want to ask him. I’m probably better off not knowing. The crucial section is that I can buy my cannabis from Sam at what I called “throwback prices.” Seriously I am buying an ounce of kind bud for the same prices I paid many years ago! A pot company doesn’t have as much overhead as a cannabis dispensary, so Sam can sell at discount prices and still make a profit for himself. The marijuana is good however nowhere near as high-octane as some of the strains at the cannabis dispensary. That’s okay for now, because I am saving so much money I don’t mind if the marijuana is of a slightly lower caliber. I hope that Sam never moves away, because I can’t go back to paying cannabis dispensary prices!
