A day in the life of a budtender

I love my life.

I am so glad I quit that stressful job at the brokerage.

Everyday was an endless expanse of anxiety and pressure, which eventually took a toll on my health. One day I just snapped, yelled at my supervisor, and quit on the spot. Not the smartest idea, I admit, but I had reached the end of my rope! I packed up my desk, and sped out of the parking lot throwing a middle finger at the boss as I left. Immediately I drove to the nearest cannabis dispensary, and that’s where fate intervened. They say when God closes a door he opens a window, and in this case the window was in the front of a cannabis dispensary. On a whim I asked the manager if he was hiring. I had no experience working in a cannabis dispensary, but I was educated, hard working, and great with customer service. I started working there the following day, and within 2 months I was assistant manager for the cannabis dispensary. Like any other kind of retail business, the most important aspect of the cannabis dispensary was customer satisfaction. Happy customers spend more money, and although I had never sold marijuana before I knew how to talk to people the right way. In a few more months I believe I will be offered the manager position, either here or at another local cannabis dispensary. After spending so many years in the financial industry I never thought my career would finally take off because of marijuana, but here we are!
