Okay, so I was late to the cannabis party.
But I’m here now & I’m not leaving until it’s over.
For me, I’m hoping that’ll be maybe another 30 years or so, then maybe that’s a stretch considering that I’m now 73 years old. But I’m hopeful! For sure, I’m passionate being retired & all the modern stuff that I’m getting into. It’s only been a year & I’ve discovered so much, chief among those modern discoveries has to be our modern found affinity for cannabis products. Full disclosure, I have tried marijuana in the past. It was in school & I was knew to the whole party scene. In fact, I went the first full year of school doing nothing but going to class & studying in the Borders. But our sophomore year, I loosened up. And at 1 unique party, I was offered a joint. I toked on whatever kind of marijuana that was & proceeded to cough our head off for a solid 5 hours. This was the end of our marijuana experience for another forty something years. After retirement, our partner & I moved to a state that offered recreational marijuana. Our curiosity was piqued by having the local cannabis spot just around the corner from where the two of us lived. So the two of us stopped in 1 day & that changed everything. The folks at the local cannabis spot sent us beach home with some samples of indica, sativa & hybrid strains for sale. The cannabis products were in flower & edible form. They also gave us plenty of guidelines. My partner & I enjoyed standing our our deck for hours just laughing & having the best time after the two of us shared a cannabis edible. And I’ll be enjoying cannabis going forward for as long as I’m lucky enough to live.
