Never too late to discover pot

Okay, so I was late to the cannabis celebration. But I’m here now and I’m not leaving until it’s over. For me, I’m hoping that’ll be maybe another 30 years or so! Maybe that’s a stretch considering that I’m now 70 years old. But I’m hopeful! For sure, I’m sentimental being retired and all the current stuff that I’m getting into. It’s only been a year and I’ve discovered so much, chief among those current discoveries has to be our current found affinity for cannabis products. Full disclosure, I have tried marijuana in the past. It was in college and I was knew to the whole celebration scene. In fact, I went the first full year of college doing nothing but going to class and reading in the library. But our sophomore year, I loosened up. And at a single unique celebration, I was offered a joint. I toked on whatever kind of marijuana that was and proceeded to cough our head off for a solid more than four hours. This was the end of our marijuana experience for another forty something years. After retirement, our wifey and I moved to a state that offered recreational marijuana. Our curiosity was piqued by having the local cannabis spot just around the corner from where all of us lived. So all of us stopped in a single day and that changed everything. The folks at the local cannabis spot sent us apartment with some samples of indica, sativa and hybrid strains for sale. The cannabis products were in flower and edible form. They also gave us plenty of instruction. My wifey and I loved kneeling our our deck for hours just laughing and having the best time after all of us shared a cannabis edible. And I’ll be enjoying cannabis going forward for as long as I’m lucky enough to live.
