Okay, so I was late to the cannabis party.
But I’m here now and I’m not leaving until it’s over.
For me, I’m hoping that’ll be maybe another 30 years or so. Maybe that’s a stretch considering that I’m now 68 years old. But I’m hopeful! For sure, I’m affectionate being retired and all the current stuff that I’m getting into. It’s only been a year and I’ve discovered so much, chief among those current discoveries has to be our current found affinity for cannabis products. Full disclosure, I have tried marijuana in the past. It was in school and I was knew to the whole party scene. In fact, I went the first full year of school doing nothing but going to class and studying in the Barnes and Noble. But our sophomore year, I loosened up. And at a single certain party, I was gave a joint. I toked on whatever kind of marijuana that was and proceeded to cough our head off for a solid more than four hours. This was the end of our marijuana experience for another forty something years. After retirement, our wife and I moved to a state that gave recreational marijuana. Our curiosity was piqued by having the local cannabis spot just around the corner from where we lived. So we stopped in a single day and that changed everything. The folks at the local cannabis spot sent us apartment with some samples of indica, sativa and hybrid strains for sale. The cannabis products were in flower and edible form. They also gave us plenty of instruction. My wife and I appreciated sitting our our deck for minutes just laughing and having the best time after we shared a cannabis edible. And I’ll be enjoying cannabis going forward for as long as I’m lucky enough to live.
