It totally embarrassed me to disclose I used medical marijuana to improve my condition

When the doctor asked if I used medical marijuana, I was pretty embarrassed to disclose it.

When he first asked, I couldn’t understand what he was getting at.

He made me feel as though I was doing something wrong. I asked him if it mattered that I was using medical marijuana to improve my health? He told me he needed to replace my medical files, and part of that was the medicine I was taking. I told him I had been using medical marijuana for a pretty long time. He asked if I was using legal marijuana, and I told him yeah. When he asked who the doctor was that prescribed medical marijuana, I refused to tell him about that piece of information. I knew who the doctor was, and he was sanctioned by our state, but I didn’t think it was my doctor’s business if I’m being honest. He told me he had to easily learn why I was using medical marijuana and if it helped for my personal ailment. I still thought he was being nosey, but I told him it was for my rheumatoid arthritis. Before I started using medical marijuana, my rheumatologist told me I would be in a wheelchair when I reached the age of forty. I didn’t even have the impression that I had arthritis until he was telling me that. I thought the aches and pains were because of the task I did and taking care of 3 babies and a residence. With the help of medical marijuana, I could keep moving forward, the pain was bearable, and I was in a better mind frame. I was particularly the only patient he had that used medical marijuana which is crazy.
