I was so fatigued of tracking people all the time… I didn’t like paperwork, & thought it wasted my time. I was there to manage a corporation & not babysit people, then whenever someone came to me & told me they got cheated on hours worked, I had to go back through all the paperwork & see if I had missed something, and mostly, it was someone who had forgotten to check in or check out when at work. I will say there are glitches and that forces me to go back to the books. I was glad I made paper copies of when my employees came & went. In case the PC system went down, or if the power went out, I would cheat no one on their pay. I knew it was extra work, but if I wanted to keep employees, I had to have alternate ways to keep track of time & attendance & do payroll. The owner of the cannabis dispensary I labor in, came in & asked to see my cannabis payroll software. I showed it to him & he asked to see my taxing copy payroll. I showed him the books I kept, then he reminded me it was double duty, & I reminded him of how often the lights went out in this area, & the PC system could lose the cannabis payroll software.
