I don’t grow enough cannabis to become a business to the local dispensary, plus I likely never will
It is said that crime doesn’t pay, even though I am not 100% sure that is the case. I easily did pretty great for myself on the wrong side of the law, even though I tell you there is more to it than the currency. In terms of take-home pay, it was the best task I ever had no question. The thing is, the thing that law abiding citizens don’t really get, is that the worry takes a real toll on you. I have currency in my hand, but I’m basically always afraid the police will come through the door, which makes that currency a little less sweet to have. The legalization of cannabis in this state tore the bottom out of my business, which completely sucked, but at least I can rest easy now… Don’t get me wrong, I’m not altogether out of business, because only medical use of cannabis is legal at the moment. I still sell marijuana, I just make a lot less than I used to. At least I can sleep easy because I don’t fear the law coming for me all the time. They could come for me, of course, I am not a cannabis dispensary I am a woman with a marijuana greenhouse in her garage. I still just sell bags of marijuana to university students, but my clients have dropped off quite a bit. The dispensaries have so many strains of cannabis, not to mention the oils, the vape cartridges, edibles, plus all that other stuff that I just can’t ever compete with.
