The business trip was a complete success.
We weren’t sure why we were so nervous.
The email had come a few weeks back from a company interested in our products. They said they’d used some and loved them, so they wanted us to go and pitch a few ideas for them. However, this was not a done deal since they were also in talks with other similar companies across the country. That was a simple way of telling us we better bring our A-game. My business partner and I spent days preparing for the meeting. We knew we were meeting some of the top executives in the company. We had to impress them and make sure we shine for us to land the lucrative account. If we did, it would make our business flourish, and we’d end up making more money than we ever imagined. Plus, this would mean we didn’t make a huge mistake quitting our jobs to work on the idea a while back. We flew to the area, had the meeting, and the company owner welcomed us on board. The contract was ours. You can imagine the delight, so we went out that evening to celebrate. We came across a store with the sign ‘hemp products for sale’ and opted to go inside to check out a few things. I liked CBD products. Ever since we started our company, I’d been dealing with anxiety, and CBD helped me relax. In the shop, there was such an incredible collection of hemp products and cannabis products. I went straight to the fridge to grab several cans of CBD beverages to take back to the hotel. My business partner also wanted some pet CBD for his cat.
