I’m old but I’m not dead.
- So when one of my most favorite bands ever got back together to tour, I just bought tickets and didn’t give it another thought.
But the fact is that the last time I saw these guys, I was enjoying recreational marijuana and still in college. That’s been something like 30 plus years ago. Back then, the concert was just the start of the night. I remember partying and enjoy my orange kush til the break of dawn. While I was still going to incorporated some sort of cannabis products into this event, I knew there was no way I was partying til dawn. Yet, I also knew that I wasn’t going to this concert to sit in my seat all night and tap my foot. Believe it or not, this concert was sort of a motivator for me to take my exercise and diet up a notch. I’m 56 and in fairly decent shape. Outside of some girl scout cookies or the occasional blue dream, I don’t smoke anything anymore. I gave up cigarettes almost as quickly as I picked them up. Additionally, I’ve been pretty good about keeping a decent weight even if I can get a bit fluffy at times. And I still dance my butt off when I’m alone and a great song comes on. So I knew that I could get my groove on at the concert but I made it a goal not to sit down during the whole concert. To be sure that I was fully into that groove, I stopped by the local cannabis spot on the way to the show. I got some sativa dominant hybrid strains for sale at the cannabis dispensary. But they were cannabis edibles. And they did the trick.
